As mentioned in my last post, traffic remains one of the biggest problems of many internet marketers. Truth is, many of the traffic generation techniques are already made known. But people are just not taking action to put those techniques into good use. So instead of complaining that there’s no traffic to your blog, stop and reflect if you have been doing enough to consistently drive traffic .
Nonetheless, I’ve compiled some of the traffic techniques which have worked for me. Hope it will benefit you!
7 Ways To Drive Massive Traffic To Your Blog
1. Submit your blog to blog directories - There are two main benefits of joining blog directories. Firstly, the more listings you have for your blog, the more exposure your blog has. Hence, naturally it acts as a form of traffic. Secondly, you generate backlinks for your blog which will help to raise your page rank in the long run. Some of the blog directories you should submit your blog to include Blog Explosion, Blog Elites, Blog Catalog and BloggerSG (for singaporean’s blogs). There are tons of blog directories around and you just need to do a google search for it. Dedicate a portion of your time to submit your blog to at least twenty of the most popular directories, and traffic will come your way in due time.
2. Visit other blogs and leave comments - Now you should never shut yourself out from the rest of the blogosphere. You need to visit other blogs related to your interests and leave genuine comments. I’m not encouraging you to spam others with your comments for the purpose of getting traffic back. It’s easy to spot such comments and most people simply ignore them or even delete them. Hence, strive to engage in discussions going around in others’ blogs and give your honest opinions. Make friends in the blogosphere. And this will help improve your traffic tremendously.
3. Create an account with Technorati - Technorati is a must join for all bloggers. Basically, it’s like a search engine and massive directory for all blogging related activities. If you use it well, it can help to build a superb linking campaign and increase your traffic substantially. Head on down to http://technorati.com and claim your blog. Thereafter, install the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin and include tags inside your blog posts. Hence, when people search for tags on Technorati, your blog will be listed for the tags you’ve inserted inside your posts. To find out more about the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin and other essential plugins you ought to install for your blog, check out this previous post of mine.
4. Create an account with Feedburner - This is another must join as it helps to burn your feeds and optimize your RSS feeds subscription. And you’re able to track how many subscribers you have for your feeds. I’ve explained the importance of RSS feeds to a blog in one of my previous posts. So read it
here.
5. Use social bookmarking sites - For this, you can install the socialble plugin mentioned in my ‘10 Essential Wordpress Plugins’ post. When people bookmark your blog on social bookmarking sites, your blog gets exposed to millions of visitors. The most popular of all is Digg where it gets 4 million unique visitors every single day. I do get quite a lot of traffic from Stumble Upon too. You may also want to submit your posts to these sites yourself.
6. Interact with your readers - Having an interactive blog that invites the involvement of readers is one of the best way of getting repeat visitors. Nobody likes to visit blogs with zero comments and no interaction going on. Initially, you might find it difficult to get your readers to leave comments. One way is to write controversial posts that will encourage readers to state their opinions. Or you can ask your friends to visit and leave their comments as well. Most importantly, you should always reply to your readers’ comments. Many times, people don’t bother replying. Chances are, people will stop leaving comments on such blogs. Nonetheless, it still subjective. Just look at Adam Khoo’s blog. He never replies but look at the number of comments. Talk about the advantages of being famous eh…
7. Build up the content - This is the last but the MOST important. And perhaps this is one aspect hugely neglected by many. Now the above 6 ways to drive traffic to your blog will come to no use if your blog does not have solid and sticky content. You may be generate a decent amount of traffic to your blog using the above methods. But it’s pointless if your readers see no value in your blog and decides never to visit again. So focus on creating value and providing useful content. Continue doing that and you will be able to generate a decent stream of repeated and continuous traffic.
So there you have it! The 7 Ways To Drive Massive Traffic To Your Blog!
I’m sure there are many other ways to drive traffic to your blog that you can possibly think of. I shan’t mention all of them here. To be frank, I haven’t been doing much to drive traffic myself. But will be definitely doing so once exams are over! And adding much more value to this blog for sure.
Still, if you would like to find out more about driving traffic and building a list, look out for my next post as I’ve managed to get hold of an interview done with Michael Cheney, the traffic expert. Be sure to look out for his Michael’s Traffic Videos which is due to launch in 3 days time.

Sorry ppl! My bad! I did not keep up to the promise of more posts this week.
But hopefully, this free eBook will benefit you. I understand that one of the most common problem most internet marketers face is not having a decent amount of traffic. Well, I’m certainly not saying I’m generating tons of traffic for myself.
But with an alexa ranking of 119,000 within 3 months of setting up my blog, I must say I’m pretty satsified. Despite the fact that I’ve not been doing much to drive traffic due to my school commitments, but I do know several proven and useful ways of driving traffic to a blog.
So back to the free eBook. Not sure if you’ve heard of Michael Cheney. But he’s a famous internet marketer well- known for his Google Adsense Videos and 11 Days To List Profits.
This time round, Michael has outdone himself by launching a new set of Traffic Videos.
If there’s one person who knows about generating traffic, it has to be Michael Cheney.
Though his Traffic Videos are not out yet, you can grab hold of his free eBook titled ‘How To Avoid The Top 20 Traffic Disasters’.
You don’t even have to opt in as he’s just giving away the eBook away. Be sure to check out an interesting video he has set up for everyone.
Click here to claim your free eBook while it’s still available!

And look out for my next post as I will share with you the 7 ways to drive massive traffic to your blog!

Yup.. The title conveys my message! Have been really busy with school projects, upcoming tests and the workshop I’m conducting. Furthermore, yesterday was shutdown day. (Just an excuse)..
Anyway, I’m still hoping for more comments for my last two posts. Do read it and let me know your views if you haven’t! Remember, the issue is really not whether you would rather be rich or happy (guess the ans is pretty obvious). But about identifying a cause that is bigger than you and lead us towards fulfilling a bigger purpose on Earth. Go read it!
Would You Rather Be Rich Or Happy?
Would You Rather Be Rich Or Happy? (Pt 2)
That should be enough to keep you entertained for awhile..
If it isn’t, do check out the puzzles at
The Creativity Club designed by my friend Moonaire. It’s really intriguing and stimulating. So if you are up for challenges, this one is for you..
Took Patricia and I over an hour to solve the four puzzles. See if you can beat us to it! My last check, the two of us were the only ones who solved it.. (talk abt being the smartest couple around) Trust me, the puzzles are addictive but highly challenging. (talk about being humble)..
So if you think your brain requires some stimulation to keep it active and you dun mind killing some brain cells on a Sunday afternoon, head on down to The Creativity Club and start from Level 1!
You can ask me for clues if you want!
As for myself, I will kill some brain cells over my school projects.
More posts next week I promise!

So happy to see all the comments pouring in.. Nv knew so many people actually bothered to read my blog posts.. Haha.. So b4 I proceed, jus wanna say thanks to all who have voiced out their opinions. Appreciated it. Had a wonderful time reading thru every single comment and really pondering and reflecting over many stuffs.
For those who have not read my previous blog post, do read it over here.
Now, the blog post was intended to clear some misconception about money and people who strives hard to be wealthy.
Though the title of my blog post could have been misleading. Just in case some people misunderstand that I actually would rather choose to be rich than happy, just let me clarify. Firstly, I must state that I would definitely choose to be happy rather than rich. Period.
I know money is NOT equivalent to happiness. I’ve seen so many examples of families who live an extremely simple life but yet experience the warmth and happiness which so many wealthy families are deprived of.
That is something which no amount of money in the world can buy. On the other hand, there are numerous examples of wealthy families which are broken apart. While many people admire those who are being born with a silver spoon, I’ve seen cases of wealthy friends who feel extremely depressed and empty inside due to the lack of warmth and happiness in their families. As a result, they resort to crimes and other bad behaviours so as to seek excitement in order to fill the empty space created by their wealthy parents.
Hence, this has led to the belief that being wealthy actually creates more problems. And some people really do believe that wealth and happiness are mutually exclusive.
But is that really the case?
Having read through the comments in my previous post, just would like to bring up some interesting points:
First one is by
Rachit:
But the truly happy people in the world live completely in today. They have no worries about tomorrow, no thoughts of the past, they feel good every day … almost as if they are living in a compartment of one day.
And so here’s the irony … we want to be rich … because that money, and the journey towards the money will make us happy.
But because we work so hard to be rich, our attention shifts to the past & future … not NOW. And NOW is where true happiness lies. The ability to be happy despite your situation - to feel a good inside when we are poor, rich, sick, healthy
So, in my case … my ongoing goal is to remain happy without condition … if i’m successful, failing or anything else … i want to be happy with myself. If success, great meaning or riches happen along the way, it’ll be a nice bonus.
I think Rachit made a really good point about people focusing on the past and future and not the present. Certainly the case. True happiness does lie in what is happening NOW.
Hence, we should always strive to be happy with what we’re doing NOW. But my point is, those who are perpetually complaining about their lack of finances and lack of time etc are usually those who end up slogging their lives out for money. It’s because that they do not have this desire to be wealthy and have no dreams & aspirations for themselves that they are forced to report to a job which they dislike and end up being even unhappier.
Coincidentally, these are the people who will tell you ‘I do not want to be rich. I just want to be happy.’
Why do I say that? The friend which I mentioned in my last post has always complained to me about not having enough money. She’s NOT happy. And she WANTS to be rich. It’s just that she has not managed to identify the driving factor to move her out of her comfort zone.
Why is that so?
This brings us to the next comment by Moonaire:
I believe in helping people, and have been doing so since I could remember. Most are pro bono, and once in a while I do get paid (even when I don’t charge them), but either way, each time I successfully provide a solution, it brings a smile to their face, and it is that smile, that ‘customer satisfaction’ that pushes me forward.
Would I rather be rich or happy? I don’t really care about either. I just want everyone else (especially the billions of people on earth in state of poverty) to be happy, and I will do all I can for that smile on the face.
Now now.. Think about it for a second… Do you think Moonaire strives to be wealthy? YES! We’ve just had a short discussion on Friday about some big plans we’re going to launch and we want to be millionaires by the age of 25.
But what’s the difference here??
Moonaire has managed to identify a cause that is so much bigger than himself. You see, when your cause is just YOU alone, you will never find the motivation to work hard. You will never see the need of having big dreams and aspirations because it’s all about YOU alone.
If it’s not for my mother who has to stand and work for 8 hours every single day even though she’s already 55, I will never see a need either. If it’s not for my father who has to constantly face debtors knocking on the door and contemplate declaring bankruptcy, I will never see a need either. If it’s not for the majority of the world’s population who lives on only US$1 a day, I will never see a need either. If it’s not for our Lord & Saviour who has gifted us with our life and a chance to make a difference in others’ lives, I will never see a need either.
So it’s not really about YOU being happy and YOU being rich.
I’m sure many of the wealthiest people do not just work hard for their wealth and happiness. In one of the comments in my last post, I mentioned about the various large charitable organisations in the world being set up by some of the billionaires.
They recognise that the cause is bigger than them. Which is why despite accumulating so much wealth, they still do not stop working. And GIVING.
Here’s a quote from Johnny Wimbrey: ‘When you put money before the cause of helping people, money is your master’.
Then are those so called ’spiritual’ people who criticize people for seeking wealth. But yet, they themselves are slaves of money and are perpetually unhappy as well. So many people believe that wealth and spirituality are mutually exclusive. I beg to differ. I believe in Enlightened Wealth. I believe in giving first. I believe that our Lord has abundance of good things in store for us, with wealth being one of them. Not for us to enjoy, but for us to help the needy ones.
Alright, if you actually bothered to read this long post, I really thank you for your time. having said so much, bottomline is: Find something that you really enjoy doing. And try to convert it into a profitable stream of income. In that way, you will be able to be happy not only now, but also in the future. And you’ll be able to be rich at the same time.
Coincidentally, this is also what is being preached by adam Khoo.
And yes, I do aspire to retire young. Not because I can enjoy for the rest of my lives. But because I can devote more time and energy to accomplish the greater things in life.

Today, I was chatting with some of my friends in school when a comment by one of my friends sent me into some serious thinking. We were just chit-chatting casually when one of my friends asked me how’s my online business doing. As usual, I was pretty excited about my online business plans and also the workshop that is currently ongoing.
I went on to talk about how we must really live out of our comfort zone in order to become successful and wealthy in life. Then one of my friend commented:
‘I do not want to be rich. I just want to be happy.’
For one instant, I was stunned. For some reason, I did not know how to answer her. Not because I agreed with her mindset. But because I was rather astounded by that comment. I mean, since when wealth and happiness are mutually exclusive??
Then another quote came to my mind,
‘Money will not buy you happiness’.
Ahh… Now I’m starting to see the link.
It seems like some people are having this misconception that being rich will actually rob you of your happiness. But is that truly the case? Take a look around, who are the majority of people who are constantly beset by problems? I believe that the majority of problems people face in life(relationships, health, career) are the result of LACK of money.
Today, divorces and crimes are influenced by the lack of money. Now, I’m not saying that all poor people are sad and all wealthy people are happy. I’m not as myopic as to equate happiness with wealth.
But, while I do agree that money will not buy you happiness, I do believe that not having money will not make you happier as well. Hence, I would definitely rather to be unhappy with money than unhappy without it. Though that’s besides the point.
Coming back to the comment, I just wonder how many people also share the same belief? Why can’t you strive to be rich and happy? I feel that people who share that belief are simply having some misconceptions about money.
You see, the true wealthy people do not think of money just as coloured pieces of paper. They see it as tools to fulfil every one of their dreams. The fact is, money itself is just a concept. A spiritual concept if you would like.
And money contains the power to do so much good. One got to look beyond the surface of money notes and see the benefits it can bring to one’s family and loved ones. If you do not think of yourself, at least think of others.
When you keep thinking that you only want to be happy rather than be rich, you’re simply only thinking of yourself. But, the reason why so many wealthy people work so hard for money is not for themselves! The cause is bigger than each individual!
Just take a look at Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, two of the wealthiest individuals in the world. They could have retired long ago, with the sheer amount of wealth they have built for themselves. Instead, they still continue to work. (though Bill Gates has recently stepped down from managing Microsoft’s operations) Is it because they are so money-minded that even with so much wealth they are not satisfied? Of course not!
People like to associate rich people with being materialistic and claim that these people worship money. But take a look around once again and you will realize it is the people who lack money who worship money. Who woks all day, year after year in a job which they hate, just for the monye? Who is constantly worrying about money? Who are those who constantly queue long hours each week to have a go at the lottery?
Is it those who are wealthy or those who have no money? I rest my case.
So why do Warren Buffet and Bill Gates still continue to work? It’s because of their passion and for a cause is greater than them! Why do I say that? These two men have pledged the majority of their fortune to charity.
Judging by their actions, do you think they are not happy??
Stop holding on to the belief that you just want to be happy and not rich. When you have that belief, you will NEVER be rich. And trust me, you won’t like that feeling.
Money can give you the power to touch so many more lives and fulfil your mission on Earth. I believe we were born not to just lead a normal life. If you want to be special, work for it. Stop letting these limiting beliefs impede your success.
I know only by being rich can I relieve my parents of the misery and burden they face due to financial problems. I know by being rich can I truly help the poor in the world. I know by attaining financial freedom can I have the time to accomplish more of the greater things in life. It’s because of these ‘whys’ that I operate differently from the majority of my peers, and I’m proud of it.
And the next time people criticise you for being materialistic just because you work hard for your goals, tell them to give you their money then. Since it’s not going to make them happy. Might as well relieve them of the misery. Enough said.

Recently I’ve witnessed a spike in blog reviews started by various bloggers. The concept is simple: Blogger A invites other bloggers to post a review of blogger A’s blog on their respective blogs. In return, blogger A offers a backlink and sometimes a prize for the best entry.
In my opinion, this is a good way of driving traffic and increasing publicity for one’s blog, other than the honest feedback that one actually receives. As a review of your own blog is being placed at potentially many other blogs, your link is being exposed to hundreds or even thousands of pairs of eyes.
Recently, I chanced upon Alvin’s blog which offered a similar review campaign. And it really caught my eye as he was offering a Digital Video Creator to whoever who posted the best review of his blog. Though I’m not sure how is he going to judge these entries, the Digital Video Creator is simply too attractive to miss out. (the typical ‘kiasu’ Singaporean mentality). So kudos to Alvin for making me come up with a review of his blog:
What I Like About His Blog:
1. Attractive theme and colour
Firstly, the theme and the colour used for the blog is attractive. I especially like the refreshing orange colour used for most parts of the blog. From the header, to the navigation bar, to the opt in list, the colour is synchronized throughout and blends in nicely with each other. It breaks the monotony of a regular blog that is usually filled with only information and nothing else.
2. Easy Navigation
The table right at the top of the blog which lists the announcements and recommended articles is useful as it helps in navigating around the blog. Overall, the layout is clear and simple. And there aren’t many banner ads. I don’t get the idea that he is hard-selling anything to me, and can freely explore the blog with ease. Hence, it’s rather pleasing to the eye.
3. Useful Information
Overall, the blog does indeed provide useful content, especially for internet marketing newbies. It also recommends tools which I was unaware of previously. Most of the entries are aimed towards educating these newbies, which I feel is a relatively good outreach. And the theme of the content is focused, concentrating on well, Internet Marketing.
What I Dislike About This Blog:
1. Poor Usage of English
Ok, I must admit I might be biased in this aspect. I believe not everyone may be as particular as me, but I often pay close attention to the usage of English as it allows smooth transition of ideas when reading. No offence intended really, as I understand everyone’s command of English varies (I won’t say mine is perfect either). I do cringe when I notice poor grammar and sentence structure, and also obvious spelling errors. I admit that content is still the main priority, but blog entries should be kept free from grammatical and spelling errors as far as possible. One does not have to write in fluent or bombastic English. But in order to reach out and appeal to a wider audience, it would certainly help if the level of English is reasonable at least.
2. Inactive Forum
I felt that it was nice of Alvin to set up a forum, however I think it is very under utilized. I believe that if an interactive and vibrant forum is to be created, the owner has to take the first step to create the reason why people should participate in the forum and thereby encourage them to do so. As the forum is now relatively ‘dead’ without any activity, attempts to direct people to join the forum would probably end up futile.
Suggestions For Improvement:
1. Correct the spelling and grammatical errors
As mentioned above, a blogger should strive towards keeping his/her blog free from spelling and grammatical errors. He can get someone to proof read his entries. Furthermore, the titles of blog posts can be made more catchy and free from spelling errors To Alvin, if you find it troublesome or tedious, well, do at the very least proof read your recommended articles and perhaps, the ‘about me’ section. Anyway, I will willingly do it if I win the best review (*hint hint*). (Note: Change ‘Alvin’s personnel Story’ to ‘Personal Story’. )
2. Turn the Forum Alive
I understand it takes both time & effort to maintain an interactive forum, as I personally manage one as well. Nonetheless, if you are serious in using the forum to benefit others, you have to take the first step, for example by starting a controversial topic and getting others to feedback and participate actively.
I guess that’s about it. Having said so much, I must applaud Alvin for starting this campaign. Though he should benefit from the spike in traffic and the increased publicity, I feel it still takes a certain amount of courage to put your blog up for review, which is tantamount to having to face with criticisms. Though I do not expect him to face any backlash, as I guess most people will try to appear nice in the hope of winning the prize he has put up.
Nonetheless, as the saying goes, ‘there’s no such thing as bad publicity’. Good luck to Alvin. And for those of you who are interested in winning the Digital Video Creator, head on down to Alvin’s blog. I would love to have some competition.
Lastly, to those who are thinking of setting up a similar blog review campaign, do remember to include attractive prizes! It helps, well, look at what I’ve just spent my Sunday afternoon doing!

In one of my previous blog posts, I talked about one movie - ‘The Secret’ which I watched upon recommendation from Stuart Tan.
You can read about my post over here. Unfortunately, the Google video link has been removed by the owner so you can’t view the video for free. Nonetheless, you can view it at http://thesecret.tv for a small fee.
Recently, I did some pondering over the Law of Attraction once again.
In my last post about The Secret, I mentioned about the 3- step process mentioned in the movie:
1. Ask - Make a command to the universe
2. Believe - Believe that your wish will be granted.
3. Receive - Prepare to receive.
And it led me to think about this verse in the bible:
‘Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you’ - Luke 11:9
Sounds similar doesn’t it?
I thought about how the Law Of Attraction has manifested in my life lately and it just won’t stop….
Just awhile back ago, I was working as a sales promoter every single weekend. As I had to juggle work with studies, I found it extremely hard to cope. Most importantly, I wasn’t able to attend church because of my work committments which greatly disturbs me.
Everyday, I would wish for a way whereby I could generate an income but yet do not require me to work every weekend. And the answer came in the form of ‘Secrets Of Self-Made Millionaires’.
Recently, I’ve gotten to know many like-minded individuals through some of the weirdest occurrences. It’s funny how these people just appear in my life. And some of these people have became good friends of mine, as I forsee many more meaningful relationships being forged.
And just yesterday, Patricia and I conducted our first ever live workshop to a group of individuals whom we got to know in the past two months or so. Ever since I saw Adam Khoo speaking on stage, I actually visualized myself doing the same thing. And this visualization finally became a reality yesterday. Though it was just a small step, I know it’s a stepping stone to many more good things to come.
Just as ‘The Law Of Attraction‘ states, everything that is happening in your life is a consequence of your thoughts. Everything, including the people you meet, the occurences that happen, the wealth & success you have managed to achieve.
Positive thoughts = Positive results.
Focus on your problems & misfortune and you will constantly be bugged by even more problems and misfortune will continue to befall.
Focus on solutions to your problems and count your blessings and more good things will follow.
You’ve got to visualize you attaining success and wealth so vividly and act as though you have received it.
Though I do not wish to discuss religious issues, but if you think about it, it’s all about receiving. We all have abundance of blessings in store for us, but not everyone are willing to receive them.
So how much are you letting the Law of Attraction manifest in your life today?
The later you delay applying this Secret which is slowly being revealed to many, the more good stuffs you’re depriving yourself of.
To end off, I would like to share this quote from Les Brown during one of his seminars, which I have the privilege of viewing because of Success University. He says, ‘Our life is a gift from God. And how we live it is our gift to God’.
How true indeed.

With the proliferation of the Internet and the increasing advancement of technology, our lives are increasingly becoming highly dependent on Info-Communication Technologies(ICT). One of the modules I’m taking at the moment, New Media & Society, discusses this extensively. And the school project I’m working on also relates to this topic as we seek to find out ‘How Dependent Are We On The Internet’ nowadays.
I think the answers should be obvious even before we conclude our report. The Internet has changed the way we communicate, do work, source for information, conduct business, obtain education, make friends… and the list goes on… Relationships are being forged on the Internet today, many of which are even more solid than those being forged in the offline world.
Will there be a limit to the ever increasing dependence on the internet? I doubt so..
Interestingly, the guys over at Shutdown Day have declared March 24 Saturday, to be the official Shutdown Day. It’s aim?
To find out how many people can cope without a computer for one whole day, and what will happen if everyone takes part in this experiment.
The thought of it scares me.. I log on to the Internet even during lectures and tutorials. The moment I reach home, I switch on my computer.
So will I ever survive?? Only time will tell.. Meanwhile, my friends over at the Creativity Club have came up with ‘7 Things To Prepare For Shutdown Day’. It should help you to better cope with such a tragic day.. Oops..
As for myself, it’s time to think of how I should restrain myself on that day.. Well I can easily spend the entire day with my darling Patricia.. There are tons of things I could do with her..
For instance, we could watch DVDs on my laptop, or play games on the computer, or better still set up our websites……….. You get the picture…
The Internet Rocks! Shutdown Day? I’m not so sure.. Haha… What About You?? Are YOU Up For The Challenge?

Now we all know that the Wordpress blogging platform has numerous advantages, and one of the main ones would be the sheer amount of wordpress plugins it has. Be it for search engine optimization(SEO), monetization, interaction, list building, multimedia purposes etc, it has plugins which serve all kinds of purposes. The question is, are you fully utilizing them?
If you’re not, fret not! As I’ve compiled some of the most essential plugins which I use personally and have benefited me greatly. While it took me some time to figure out which are the useful ones, this is going to cut short your learning curve. Hope it helps!
10 Essential Plugins Everyone Out To Have
1. Optimal Title - Now by default, here’s how Wordpress displays your post::
Your Site Name >> Your Post Name
But by installing this plugin, your post will be displayed as:
Your Post Name at Your Site Name.
Hence, by placing your post name which includes your keywords first will increase your chances of getting ranked faster on the search engines. And it will appear more relevant to whoever is searching for that particular keyword.
2. Ultimate Tag Warrior - In simple terms, tags are like keywords which are used to categorize posts in the blogging community. It will help you build incoming links from Technorati, an essential community which you ought to join. Once you install this plugin, you will be able to include tags in your posts. And once you’ve tagged your posts, it will appear on Technorati under the tags you have stated. In other words, traffic!
3. Get Recent Comments - This plugin allows you to place excerpts of the most recent comments that have been placed in your blog. With this feature, it will attract further comments from your readers and hence build interaction.
4. Adsense-Deluxe - Allows you to place Google Adsense ads in your wordpress conveniently. I understand that you can simply copy and paste the code from your Google Adsense account. But for some who chooses to place Google Adsense ads in certain posts, it might be troublesome. So, this plugin enables you to just insert a special code each time you wanna place Adsense ads.
5. Related Posts - This plugin will display other posts which are relevant to your current post. Firstly, this builds inter-links within your blog. More importantly, it displays posts which might be of interest to your reader since it’s related to what he/she is reading. Thus, it will encourage them to stay longer on your blog.

NO.. Not another give away please…
Ever since I started on internet marketing roughly in August last year, I’ve witnessed at least five such massive giveaways. For those who are still unaware of such giveaways, they are basically a huge collection of free internet marketing tools, eBooks and software which are given away by various internet marketers in a bid to build their list.
This is an excellent chance for beginners who are seeking free information on the various aspects of internet marketing. I still remember how excited I was when I encountered my first such large scale giveaway.
Without thinking, I opted in to countless internet marketers’ lists so as to receive the free gifts. However, as more giveaways popped up, my enthusiasm level died down. Firstly, the free internet marketing stuffs dished out seemed repetitive. Furthermore, there was simply no time to dig through all the stuffs included inside these giveaways.
I soon realized the best way to get a head start in Internet Marketing was simply to invest in a good guide. Or a few good guides. I myself have invested in a couple of such guides, the best of which is Derek Gehl’s ‘Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business On The Internet’. No doubt, it is slightly costly. But the value you derive is worth so much more.
All my doubts about internet marketing were cleared once and for all and I’ve managed to build a solid foudation I dare say. And this guide is really about building a business, and not just some hyped up ‘get rich quick’ methods which so many eBooks out there position themselves to be.
As for affiliate marketing, Ewen Chia’s Secret Affiliate Weapon and Rosalind Gardner’s Super Affiliate Handbook remains to be my most valued investments.
Coming back to my discussion on the giveaways, hence this time round, when I gotten wind of the Viral Marketing GiveAway 4 by Brett Ingram, I frankly wasn’t moved at all. ‘It’s just one of those giveaways once again’, I though to myself.
Nonetheless, it soon dawned upon me that the whole purpose of such giveaways are for marketers to build their lists. Duh.. Common sense.. But why wasn’t I doing anything?
Man.. What was I thinking? So I spent around half an hour designing my squeeze page.. And uploaded my product to it.. And I was ready to build my list!
Next I just needed to wait and see the results..
Did it come?
You bet….
Within less than a few hours of it’s launch, I had 6 sign ups to my list..
Enough said..
GiveAways Rock!
If you have not signed up for any, what are you waiting for?
Go ahead and sign up for the Viral Marketing GiveAway 4 which just launched a couple of hours ago and grab the chance to download over 200 internet marketing tools!
And if you wanna build your list, this is your chance indeed..
