Ewen Chia of Autopilot Profits On Sunday Times!

April 30, 2007

Super affiliate Ewen Chia of the Autopilot Profits have been featured on Singapore’s most popular English daily, the Sunday times. The article was placed in the ‘Me & My Money’ Section, whereby wealthy people are being interviewed each week on their money, investment and financial planning habits. This is one of my favourite sections in the Sunday Times as I get to pick up several useful millionaires’ habits.

Nonetheless, the people who have been featured are mostly CEOs, investors, real estate agents and financial planners. Hence, for an Internet Millionaire to be featured, its really a first of its kind. This just goes to show that people (especially Singaporeans) are slowly beginning to be exposed to internet marketing and how the Internet can be used a platform for any business or individuals to market their products and services in this new media age.

Internet marketing is indeed slowly picking up in Singapore. And I forsee a wave of Singaporean internet marketers surfacing. And I feel its only natural. No doubt the country is small, but the proportion of the computer literate as well as the overall proficiency in English is high. Hence, there’s no reason why Singaporeans are unable to establish themselves as a powerhouse in this industry mainly dominated by the Westerners.

And now, with Singapore’s most famous internet marketer being featured on the mainstream media, internet marketing should receive the much needed buzz.

For those who are looking at Ewen Chia’s Autopilot Profits, go get it as its really an excellent product. And for people who are genuinely interested in picking up internet marketing but are at a loss as to how to go about starting, consider attending the World Internet Mega Summit. It should give you a clearer picture of what internet marketing is really about and provide you with a precise blueprint on how to start as a internet marketing beginner.

It certainly beats surfing aimlessly in search for internet marketing advice from website owners whom you do not even know. There’s no lack of online money making scams going around and many of those programs which promises people the world will simply disappear after siphoning the money of the innocent.

Hence, it is extremely vital that people receive the knowledge and advice from credible sources. And I cannot stress the importance of this more! Recently, one of my subscribers emailed me to relate his unhappy experiences with several online programs. I mean, you will be amazed by the extent he has been scammed. And it really irks me. As much as I do emphatise with him, this is a result of not going through the proper training. And coupled by the fact that there are indeed unscrupulous website owners, the image of internet marketing is sometimes more tainted than glorified.

But legitimate online business owners will tell you that the Internet can really be used to generate income for any ordinary individual without them having to fork out much capital. Just think about it logically. The Internet enables you to reach out to a much wider global audience and the costs of running a website is extremely minimal. (web hosting with Hostgator costs as little as $6.95 per month) Thus, the potential and amount of leverage one can achieve is immense. Furthermore, with affiliate marketing, one can make a decent income online without owning their own products.

However, we all know that affiliate marketing is not just about displaying your links in as many places as you can think of and hope that people will simply click on your link and buy. Much has to be done to build a list and maintain a relationship with your subscribers. Branding is almost essential in this aspect as you want to stand out from the average marketers in order to be successful.

Thus, it all boils down to getting the basics right. Its impossible to expect substantial amount of profits without investing in the right internet marketing education. Personally, the Derek Gehl’s ‘Insider Secrets To Marketing Your Business On The Internet’ remains one of the best investments I’ve ever made.

Oops.. I just realized I blogged two consecutive posts on internet marketing when I just announced that this blog is changing focus. Hee! Sorry.. Anyway my new internet marketing blog ain’t up yet so that’s a valid excuse!

    hey dear!
i was certainly surprised and pleased at the same time when I saw Ewen Chia’s face in the newspaper! Well, personally, it serves as a great morale booster because I believe that if he can do it (making a million on the internet), so CAN WE!

The world internet summit is certainly a great opportunity for us to get to know the gurus in person and we can see for ourselves the people who have made and are making millions for themselves through the internet! Certainly an opportunity that cannot be missed for the entire world! ;)

    Haha yesh dear..

That also served to increase the level of exposure of internet marketing. I expect more Singaporeans to pick up internet marketing from there too.

We shall be the next ones being interviewed eh? :)

    Hi Calvin,

I respect Ewen Chia a lot for what he has achieved in the affiliate marketing world.

However for autopilot profits, I’ve to say that I’m deeply disappointed in the product. It is too basic, and the sales copy is way over-hyped. It is a disappointment considering that his previous product, Secret Affiliate Weapon is so much better in comparison.

Many people in the Warrior forum felt the same way too in their reviews.

With that being said, I have to say that Ewen Chia deserves a lot of credit and mention, as he definitely knows his stuff. Just that Autopilot Profits doesn’t measure up for me, in my view.

Anyway good luck for your exam results!

    Cheers,
    Jag

    Hi Jag,

Hah.. I guess one of Ewen’s trademark is his rather ‘hyped’ sales pages. No disrespect to him though. In any case, which marketers’ sales pages isn’t?

Nonetheless, a person of his credibility certainly needs no further validation.

Anyway, I’ve read the thread in Warrior forum too. Though I must say opinions were rather divided on that issue.

As you mentioned, the Autopilot Profits is indeed designed for beginners. Experienced marketers would prolly find it a bit too basic. But for newbies and affiliate marketers who are struggling, the videos included inside would certainly help alot.

For advanced marketers, a better option would be Affiliate of The Month as that is certainly much more comprehensive and advanced.

Thanks for your well wishes! :)
